Wendy Shortland is a Sydney artist who lives in the arty Inner West suburb of Newtown. Wendy has painted in acrylics and watercolours for many years. She has an Advanced Diploma in Fine Art from the Sydney Gallery School and a Bachelor of Fine Arts,majoring in painting and drawing, at COFA (College of Fine Arts) - part of the University of New South Wales.

Wendy is a tutor of 'Painting in Acrylics' at Sydney Community College, and book art at Artwise Amazing Paper shop. She is also a consultant for the acrylic paint company, Matisse Derivan.
